Show Location:

The old Florence Fairgrounds in Florence, Alabama, is the home of Tennessee Valley Horseman's Association (TVHA).  The arena is just off Cox Creek Parkway between Chisholm Road and Wood Avenue.  Physical address is 407 Fairground Road in Florence, AL.  Negative Coggins tests are required for all horses to enter the grounds for TVHA shows.  Negative coggins papers will be checked at the gate.

Membership:

Memberships for TVHA are $35 for a family and $25 for an individual.  Members are allowed to ride in the arena at any time.  Monday nights are reserved for timed events practice and Thursday nights are reserved for judged events practice.  Thursday nights are also used as a work night.

Business Meetings:

TVHA club business meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:30.

Year End Awards:

To be eligible for year end awards, a member must be a paid member in good standing, show 4 out of 5 shows, and have worked at 4 out of 5 shows.  Work sign up sheets are located at the sign up table.

Pre-Registration:

In order to avoid long lines at sign ups, we would like to pre-register people who regularly show.  To pre-register, you can either call or email Stephanie McCay (by Friday evening before the show) with the rider's name, back number, class number and title, and the horse's name.  Stephanie will have your sign up fees calculated and a sheet to sign off at the sign up table.  When you arrive at the show, you will need to pay and have your name checked as paid at the sign up table.  You will not have to wait in line for a particular book.  If anyone is interested in pre-registering, please call Stephanie at 767-5544 or email her at simccay@yahoo.com.
